NRF P-rated (2020)
- The South African National Research Foundation conducts a review of a researcher's profile, with the help of expert panelists, to assign a "rating" indicative of their performance as a researcher. A P-rating is the highest possible for a young researcher less than 5 years out of their PhD at the time of application.
LSST DESC builder (2020)
- Many telescopes and collaborations recognise substantial contributions by awarding "builder status". Due to my work on LSST observing strategy, I was awarded builder status for the 1000-person international LSST Dark Energy Science Collaboration. This means when the collaboration releases key science papers, I will automatically be granted authorship.
NSTF-South32 Awards finalist (2021 & 2024)
- The National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF) Awards recognise outstanding contributions to science, engineering, technology (SET) and innovation. I have been a finalist for these awards twice.
South African Women in Science Awards - second runner up Distinguished Young Woman Researcher (2023)
- The Department of Science, Technology and Innovation hosts these awards yearly. In 2023, there were approximately 100 applicants for this category and I was awarded third place at the awards ceremony.

Member of the South African Young Academy of Sciences (2021)
- SAYAS represents young South African scientists and, among other activities, engage with government on policy making. SAYAS only elects 10 new members a year from the pool of outstanding South African scientists below the age of 40. I was elected in 2021.
Inspiring Fifty, South Africa, 2020
- Each year, Inspiring Fifty recognises exceptional women in tech fields, celebrating their achievements and raising them up as role models for the future generations. I was nominated in 2020.
