The Famelab competition has been called "pop idols for scientists". It's an international science communication competition where you have 3 minutes to talk about any science topic to the general public. 2013 was the first time Famelab was run in South Africa. The first video is my talk about exoplanets at the national final at Scifest in Grahamstown.
After making it through as the winner of the South African final, I joined 20 other participants from all around the world at the international final at the Cheltenham Science Festival, where I spoke of our cosmic origins in quantum fluctuations at the dawn of time.
